Chris Anthony

Christopher has over 25 years in the film business. From the opening shot of the first Harry Potter, to being a senior crew member of the BAFTA and Academy Award-winning Disney’s The Jungle Book, Christopher used his knowledge and experience to develop new techniques that bridge multiple departments. He was CG Supervisor on the BAFTA and Oscar nominated Prisoner of Akzaban, he trained and worked as a stunt and camera rigger and then as a stunt performer, specialising in wirecam and winch systems. Shows included The King’s Man, House of the Dragon and The Marvels were he was a senior member of Dave Watkins’ SFX Team, building 3 and 6-axis motion control rigs on ILM’s Volume.

This experience between departments puts him in a unique space in the PreViz world to communicate between departments. Beyond this, he has Directed numerous music videos for acts such as KT Tunstall and James Bay, and his feature debut, Heavyweight, starring Jason Isaacs and Nicholas Pinnock, opened the 33rd Raindance Film Festival with 4 nominations including a win for Best Director. It is now under consideration for BIFA and BAFTA.
